Before Jameson's arrival, Darin and I talked about how neat it would be to plant a tree in our yard for him the year he was born. Well, it just got planted Friday...nothing like waiting until almost the last minute! But hey, we did manage to sneak it in before the end of the year in which he was born! Thanks to Brady/Meyer Exteriors for coming over in the rain and planting Jameson's Crimson King Maple tree. The name could not be more perfect for our little bean, since he is pretty much king of this castle! I took some pictures of the King himself with his tree on New Year's Eve. The plan will be to take an official picture each year on his birthday to show their growths! I hope Jameson thinks it is as meaningful and special as we do.
